DCON, or District Convention, serves as both the end and the beginning of each Key Club annual term. The focus is to elect the new CNH District Executive Board, as well as for members and advisors or chaperones to attend workshops, participate in spirit rallies, and celebrate the hard work of the last year of service. Attendees also look forward to the Governor's Ball and Advisor's Ice Cream Social. In any given year, there are approximately 2,000-2,500 people in attendance.
CHAPERONES ARE ROLE MODELS AND ARE SUBJECT TO THE SAME CODE OF CONDUCT AND DRESS CODE AS THE STUDENTS AT ALL TIMES.
Chaperone duties extend all 48 hours, even during the night in case of emergencies. Chaperones caught not abiding by code of conduct are also subject to removal of their club from the convention and removal of convention attendance in the future at the discretion of the CNH District.
No dinner is provided Friday night. All other meals are provided at the convention.
In-Room Curfew: 12:00 midnight to 5:00 a.m. Do not allow students out of rooms during these hours. Please conduct room checks to ensure students are in assigned rooms.
